updateUserSettings

Updates the account's tracking preferences, or one site's tracking settings when siteId is supplied, and returns the me profile. Omitted settings stay unchanged. Account-level updates regenerate the tracking script; read site-level values from settings on sites. Requires tracking options edit access.

Arguments

updateUserSettings.siteId ● Int scalar

Site ID from sites; omit to update account preferences instead of site settings.

updateUserSettings.dnt ● Boolean scalar

When true, visitors are tracked even if their browser sends Do Not Track; omitted keeps the saved value.

updateUserSettings.autoIdentity ● Boolean scalar

When true, an email address entered in a form or survey becomes the visitor profile ID; omitted keeps the saved value.

updateUserSettings.defaultCurrency ● String scalar

Supported currency code for tracked monetary values, such as USD; normalized to uppercase.

updateUserSettings.explicitAgent ● Boolean scalar

When true, Crazy Egg visits the site with the Crazy Egg Bot user agent instead of a common browser user agent; omitted keeps the saved value.

updateUserSettings.useSecureCookies ● Boolean scalar

When true, Crazy Egg cookies get the Secure attribute and are sent only over HTTPS; omitted keeps the saved value.
