abTestUpdateVariantDescription

Sets one variant's description on a DRAFT, RUNNING, or STOPPED test without changing its patch, redirect, or weight; use abTestUpdateVariants for other variant changes. The response is the updated variant record, so request only id, which is the variant id. Requires A/B testing edit access.

Arguments​

abTestUpdateVariantDescription.id ● Int! non-null scalar​

Test id from abTestList, abTestRefList, or abTestCreate.

abTestUpdateVariantDescription.variantId ● Int! non-null scalar​

Numeric variant id from abTestRefList or abTestEditorDetail.variants; must belong to this test.

abTestUpdateVariantDescription.description ● String! non-null scalar​

Replacement descriptive text for the variant; this does not change its patch or redirect.

A/B test settings and lifecycle returned by test lists, detail queries, and create/update operations. Metrics are populated by list queries; use abTestResultCounts for goal/date-scoped results.
